Mothernature ... in re your no-longer-applicable plans to marry River Phoenix (RIP ) ... I had those same plans for Mr. Landon (RIP ). But, of course, he was married. With children. And very close to my father's age ...

Then the old (RIP ) ... had the chutzpah (gall) to divorce his (admittedly 2nd) wife and marry a woman close to my age (within a few years, anyway) ... and I can't begin to tell you how that broke my heart ...
