Newsweek says Salma Hayek BFing on camera "weird"

Just got my copy of Newsweek and in their one section (The Dignity Index, page 10) they said they "still think Salma Hayek breasfeeding a hungry AFrican baby-on camera-during a relief tour is just, well weird" and gave her a score of 7 on their "dignity index".


Ummm...if someone had food and didn't share it with a very hungry child standing in front of them, we'd think it was terrible. She can offer the child nourishment, but it is "weird" for her to do so.

Sigh.

Anyway, I think i'm going to email them a comment about my disappointment with their choice of words and criticism.

Yeah, I told them I considered what she did to be the very essence of humanity.

Oh, and FWIW, a score of "7" on their "dignity index" corresponds to "mildly tacky" on their little scale listed underneath the blip. Nice :
