Help me calculate my due date

I just kind of made up a date for myself, but I didn't really think about it much. Now I'm starting to wonder...

My LMP started 12/6/08.

My dh was only home on the 17th, 18th & 19th. Um, I believe we did it every day. Those short stays are always sweet, haha.

I typically ovulate on day 17 or so, not usually on day 14.

I picked Sept 15th as a due date.

What do you think?

I typically have 40+ week pregnancies; last time I added a 4 day fudge factor to my due date and ds came on the day!

It was a lot easier to pick his due date- I was temping and charting. This time I was just following my body.

There are plenty of due date calculators online. I used the one at iVillage.com.

babycenter.com has a pregnancy calculator and I came up with September 12th, meaning you would be 10 weeks along. That is based on a 28 day menstrual cycle.

I'm due September 10th and my LMP was December 5th, 2008 so you should only be a few days after me!

According to Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler you should use the following formula:

If you are charting and know your ovulation date (in your case you know it within a couple days), simply add 9 months to that day and then subtract 7 days from that date. If you ovulate around day 14 then your due date calculation will be the same as the LMP calculation. Since your cycle is a bit longer, it will be different from the LMP calculation (the one that you get from the online calculators) by a few days.

My LMP was 12/19 and ovulation was around Dec 31, so my due date is Dec 24ish.

I forgot, I did do the babycenter thing... then added a few days.

And T.W sits on my shelf but for the life of me I couldn't find that little paragraph!! I know that's how I calculated ds's due date, though.

And I'll be 11 weeks after the weekend. Time to call a midwife soon.... I'm getting excited.
