Yarn Harlot had a homebirth! She mentions it in that post since her DD just had a birthday.

How cool is that?

I saw that today! I told my husband, who was totally underwhelmed. I'm so glad someone else was all excited too!!

I knew that : I'm sure she's mentioned it before.

Well poo to you Helen! j/k

I didn't know she was a doula either. That's cool. I knew I loved her for some reason...other than her knitting and sass.

And, I believe, she's an IBCLC.

I noticed that the other day too, I knew she seemed crunchy

the coolest people are always crunchy at some level.

Yup. She also uses her bike or public transportation as much as possible, and she is part of a CSA -- at least during the warm months -- for much of her food. I think she might be a vegetarian, as well -- but don't quote me on that!

I'm a YH lover, lol.

Yeah, she's vegetarian (except for a slice of turkey on Christmas, I believe). She's written that she's comfortable with her place at the top of the food chain, but she thinks that eating meat is hard on the planet.

I, apparently, am a YH groupie.
