so far i have found info on *one* site, and it seems it is similar to being Rh-, but there isnt' a shot i can just get in my last half of preg etc to make my body not attack the baby's blood supply.

I remembered reading something about Positive for Antibody E test results a while back and this is what I found in the archive. Sorry I can't be more help!

thanks for that link. this is the only one i found that really had much info, and it basically said the same thing, that it is an rh thing, and that i should have monthly labs to check levels, ultrasounds at a frequency MUCH more often than the 1 that i was actually planning, and likely an amnio and if the amnio results aren't good, the baby could need a transfusion in utero.

thing is i REALLY hate needles, and i know there are risks to amnios to the baby(miscarriage etc), so i'm wondering if i could get around that ...

Did you read this whole thread? You may be able to PM some of these moms if they are still around for some more info & support?

I just stumbled across a thread in the August DDC, the mom's screen name is adoremybabe, and her thread is something like "a phone call I didn't expect" or similar to that. She also just found out she has antigen E, and she explained how her OB described it to her. You two might want to talk
