The Bachelor Shocker - Spoiler Alert

I don't know if this is okay to post a duplicate thread, but I wanted to discuss the "shocking" events revealed by Reality Steve without spoiling it for those who want to know. I could not see the video, but I was reading that he picked Melissa as the Final1 but ends up cheating on her with Molly, and they both announce it to Melissa at the final rose ceremony.

I read it and I'm telling you if that's true, I will NEVER WATCH again. I'm fuming mad that he would do that to Melissa. Disgusting.

They announce it to Melissa supposedly at the first After the final rose (ATFR) and at the SECOND ATFR they show how molly and jason are doing now and he proposes to Molly.

Yikes! I just got more details too and supposedly Jason was going to pick Molly all along but ABC told him to pick Melissa and change his mind to create more drama, and he went along. Melissa did not know though. So basically it was Molly all along but they used Melissa for ratings.

I can't believe Molly went along with it. I guess she and Jason deserve each other.

This show has really, really jumped the shark.

Hmmm I in NO WAY endorse cheating but ummm isn’t the whole point of the show that he is dating all these women at once? How is he cheating if Mellissa knows Molly is still in the picture?

Either way, I don’t think it’s right to play with emotions like that. It’s hard to know what goes on behind the camera but I’m sure he strongly hints to whoever is ‘the one’ and gives hints to the other one that she won't be picked.

This next episode will be interesting.

This is all speculation

I agree it's cheating if he proposed to Mellissa and then was still seeing Molly. But we really won't know till the episode airs.

For now, I will hold off on judging everything till I see it.

Reality Steve's theory is that Jason settled on Molly early in the show. He then conspired with the producers to select Melissa at the finale, sham an engagement with her, break up with her at the finale and announce that he'd continued to date Molly all along. RS speculates Molly wasn't in on it (at least up to the finale) so they'd get a realistic reaction out of her when she was 'rejected'.

It will be interesting to see what actually happens. Even if Molly wasn't in on it before the finale, you'd think she'd have to be afterward, and I can't imagine going along with that and still being able to respect him in any way.

well who knows if the spoiler is true but there are definitely people in this world who wouldn't be bothered by something like this. not saying molly is necessarily one of them but you never know.

Oh sorry, I wrote that wrong. I meant that he'd pick Melissa in the finale and break up with her at the "After The Final Rose" show. I think they said production on The Bachelor wrapped in November and the ATFR was taped the last week in January (although normally the ATFR is taped about a week before the finale is aired--I think this is one of the things that started the rumors flying). So there was a space of 2-3 months when he was supposedly seeing both girls. Again, all according to RS.

True. . . I didn't mean that I was offering that as proof that rumor was false. More just my musing that it's a disgusting thing for both of them to have done to Melissa *IF* that is in fact what actually happened. I just meant that I personally couldn't imagine liking the guy after he pulled that kind of garbage. But then again, I can't imagine going on a reality TV show like that anyway

no i get what you are saying and it is completely disgusting ... that anyone involved in the show would let something go on like that is just terrible (if it's true.) i definitely would not like a guy who did something like that either - yuck!

If that is true….I am completely disgusted and feel sick to my stomach. That is wrong on so many levels.

But watching the whole season makes me really find that hard to believe. He never really connected with Molly the whole time. I never in a million years would have thought she was it. Hmmmm I guess they can do amazing things with editing.

I saw that realitysteve site a few days ago, and if its true I will be disgusted. I really hope it doesnt happen like that.
