We've been discussing the book Protecting the Gift by Gavin DeBecker. If you're just joining in, I'd recommend looking over the threads from the previous chapters (feel free to respond/give your input).
Here in chapter six, DeBecker talks about starting to include the child as one of the people watching out for his/her safety.
When we're not with our child, there are things they need to know, which DeBecker refers to as "The Test of Twelve." What do you think of his list? Are these things you've already been teaching to your children? How do you plan to impart these lessons in the future?
