But what happens when they don't change and keep adding mustard to their posts, just letting enough time to pass before adding more mustard. So did I just read right, is it truely confirmed that our "points" will be wiped away clean and we get a fresh start? I do hope so so much.. i havelearned my many lessons, lol..

Does this also mean, say for instance we *not saying anynames* lol, were on a year suspension from a certain room, that were are allowed back in...? Lets say TAO for instance..? haha

Ruthla explained my sandwich a little better, although I do think all points should be able to be gotten rid of whether with time or community service. I think the reasons behind the points should be kept on your permanent record though so that mods can see what your past offenses are so they can use that information in their reviews.

Uh I don't understand the question

I guess I wasn't really asking a question, stating more of a comment on whether or not, how the data could be saved if there should be redeption with points since the thread started heading in that direction.

Don't current "transgressions" expire after 12 months? I think the violation stays on the "record" but the warnings/points no longer count.

Oh, and how does this whole point thingie work with individual forums? In the past, I've known some individuals who were temporarily banned from individual forums such as TAO, N&CE (though I guess we're ALL banned from N&CE now! ) CAC, etc. It sounds like this new automated policy is only talking about MDC-wide bannings. So are forum-specific bannings now a thing of the past?

No, I am actually pretty fond of forum specific bannings. That is at staff discretion. If someone tends to have a ton of issues in a specific forum then we remove them from that forum.

If they just flat out don't post during their "forum suspension" time or reregister then we are pretty aware they have no interest in being here other than to discuss that one issue.

That isn't against the rules, but if they are only posting *negatively* on that issue then that would lead us to doubt their sincerity in being a member of the community.

Of course we do not want perfect MDC clones, no one is and we don't expect people to be. I have never had a natural birth for instance but it is a huge waste of moderator time to have people here who are only here to trash MDC philosophies and/or it's members.

This is not a debate board, it is a parenting board.

As long as people are nice, it isn't a UAV most the time anyways.

That is only one use of forum specific bannings and we will be using them.

It is at administrator discretion.

Mods don't have access to the buttons that turn off specific forum access. But mods would bring that up with us.
