Weaving My Own Hemp Shower Curtain

Hi.
I would really like to weave my own hemp shower curtain. I have sourced yarn but I definitely don't have a loom and was wondering if there were any hand-weaving techniques out there that would allow me to create a tight but light weave.

I guess I could just get fabric and sew...but I've been wanting to learn how to do this and I feel like this would be the best starter project since there is no real "pattern" I would just dye it when done.

Anyone got any good links/suggestions?

A curtain is a rather large undertaking for a first weaving project. You might start with something smaller, like a bathroom hand towel or washcloth. Those are also much more easily done with a handmade loom. You can even use a piece of cardboard for a loom, using this technique.
