OT: creating a PDF file?

hi, i have about 40 pages in Word that i would like to create into a single pdf file. does anyone know how i do that? i googled it & didn't find anything. thank you for your help.

Another alternative

I use OpenOffice instead of Microsoft Office. It comes with a pdf converter. It's a free, opensource software program. I've had it on my computer for 3+ years & have yet to miss Bill Gates...

Use "print" in word (with your doc open, of course). There should be a "print to PDF" button or a PDF button with more options (like "save to PDF" or "mail PDF").

I use OpenOffice too, and can export to PDF from it directly. Otherwise I use the CutePDF software, it's great! yay open source!
