ok i have 3 thirstees fab fitteds that came out of the wash with some staining not anything severe but enough to bother me seeing how i haven't even had them a week.
so what can i do other than sunning it has been cold and rain/snowy here with no signs of changing. does the sun even still work when it's cold out (for getting rid of stains)?

I've heard it does, but I've never relied on it, honestly.

Have you tried cold soaking the diapers overnight before the wash? This work for our prefolds to keep them completely stain free. The fitteds stained till they were washed again.

The diaper covers were another issue. The only part that stained was the fold over elastic around the legs. No amount of soaking after would help, even if I caught it immediately. I finally bought OxiClean Baby. I don't know if it's just because I waited so long to try it, but it took two separate soakings back to back at the max potency to remove those stains, but they looked as good as new.

I don't know about getting out stains, but I do a cold rinse cycle before washing which is helping to prevent them.

I had one dipe that was stained before I tried this. We had a cold day with a little sun a few days ago, and the stain did come out after sitting outside for a bit.
