my blog is in my sig

my questions...

...is my content enough to get return visits? or just new ones?

...am I too all over the place? or is a good mix of 'everyday' stuff?

...is my writing ok? I don't really edit it to death, just let it roll off my fingers and publish it.

...any suggestions/comments/tips/advice/whatnot anyone wants to toss out, I'm all ears

I started my blog to make a 'brand' of my name so that, in the even that I publish a book, some people out there would have heard of me and anyone looking for me would easily find me - something I heard about doing at a writer's meeting. I'd love to make money off of it, but I don't see how... I just love to write and when I hear that someone likes what I've written it gives me such a boost to keep going with my novel/editing...

I'll join. My blog is very, very new. (and in my siggie, btw)

Our old family blog had a ton of followers- due largely to my dh's good writin g and photography. I can't expect my writing blog to be a popular.

OK, I have the list up.

Here's the deal-- When it's your turn, I'll PM you and you to PM me with
1. a summary of your blog's purpose
2. where your blog is (in your profile or your signature. Please keep in mind that if there's any sort of ad in it at all, it can't be linked in the threads)
3. 5 or so specific questions/calls for feedback that you have

If you have more than one blog, I'm going to ask that you stick with one at a time and then go to the end of the queue.

Um, I just wanted to point out that maybe we could do 3 blogs a week?.. Otherwise it will take us months to get through all the blogs... I'm sure we can handle visiting and commenting on 3 blogs a week?

What does everyone think? :
If it's too much, feel free to throw tomatoes and to let me know that I'm crazy.:

Please add me to the list. My blog is in my siggie.

Questions:
1. Is the layout pleasing?

2. Are my posts too long in general? How about the content? I am posting about my life/thoughts, but my interests are varied. Is it too much for one blog?

3. Does the writing flow well? Is it interesting at all? Sometimes I worry about sounding pretentious.

4. I'd like to create more traffic... any ideas other than give aways, Blog Catalog, and forums?

Anything else that you think is constructive criticism shoot right at me. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
