Bum Genius Fans, what else do you like?

I unloaded a bunch of stuff that didn't work for us, and would like to try something else for variety. I'm considering trying one of the FB one size.

DS is 2 months old, long and skinny. I love how easy the BG are, and that they seem to work a lot like a sposie. They seem to pull the wetness away. I like Thirsties, but they don't do that. I'm also getting frustrated with the velcro on the Thirsties. It is curling up and sticking to other dipes in the wash.

We started out with all BGs... now we have a variety of stuff. I really like the Tiny Tush Elite one size (snaps), the blueberry OS (snaps) and the Fuzzi Bunz. I like the sized better then the one size though with the fuzzi bunz.

I have a tall & skinny DS. I have not really liked any of the one sizes. They are just so big on him. I tried fitteds, DS did not like to feel the wetness. I have used pockets mostly. I prefer snaps. I didn't like how the Velcro came unhooked in the wash and collected hair. I am loving the Pocket Change. They have an opening in the front and back. I can spread out the folded hemp insert in front for more absorption coverage. With the two openings, you don't have to take the insert out, it agitates out in the wash. DH really loves that. I also like Huggabuns, the old style, with the front opening and they are reasonably priced. I have not tried the new style with the bamboo insert.

I haven't tried the FB one size, but I have the regular FB and I love them- they are probably my favorite dipe that we have. I only use BG for our night diapers now because I have issues with the velcro. I also just bought some AIO Swaddlebees that work well too.

If you like BG's but don't care so much for Aplix you might try their OS AIO with snaps. It's organic cotton inner and pul outer, absorbent enough for my toddler and roomy, too. They also dry fairly quickly and get cleaned all the way since the layers are not completely sewn in.

I really like the Happy Heiny's One Size pocket diapers in addition to my BG OS's. Same idea, but lots of fun prints and colors, plus longer-wearing aplix and tabs (IME, anyway).

I use a few different brands, including BG. My favorite is Haute Pockets - they fit my skinny son well and have held up to over a year's worth of washings so far. I also use Thirsties pre-folds with covers for sleep times because they are so absorbent.

Oh yeah, the fast dry time is another thing I love about BG!

I'll check some of these out. Thanks!

oh, and for other OS pockets, I also use Haute Pockets, Happy Heiny's and Wonderoos. The only sized pocket I am liking at the moment is Pocket Change. Love that the insert comes out in the wash.

I bought a bunch of BG OS seconds and I like them, but I also bought 1 Drybees pocket diaper to try, and I'm loving that!!

I'm kind of sorry I bought the BG now (good thing they were cheap), I think I'll buy a few more of the Drybees though.

The velcro (aplix? I don't know the difference ) is good so far, but to be honest, I've only been using them a month and a half or something. The velcro on the BG (have been using them for just as long) is still ok but I can see it wearing out faster than it should... The drybees velcro seems much better
