okay, i did a little leg work so hopefully this will help someone else in the same boat - we have a Diaper Dekor Plus that we use for cloth diapering. we are using prefolds and covers, however i'm sure it would work for any other types of cloth. it contains odors really well and its easy to just drop the diapers in. we also liked the fact that the removable bags made it easy to transport dirty diapers to the wash and we didnt' have to keep a pail cleaned out since the bags are biodegradable and can be thrown away.
initially, we were using the refills that came with the system, however we go through a pack of refills about once every three weeks due to the bulk of the cloth diapers. i'm sure you would go through less pail liners if you were using disposables.
i purchased some
bumgenius pail liners (2 to be exact). initially i though the price of them were a bit expensive, but when i think about the price of buying a box of the disposable liner refills every other month, well, it quickly became worth it.
i looked at the bummis liner, but it was far too thick to fit in the dekor pail. this bumgenius liner is thin and i install it just as i do the disposable liners (lifting up the gray tab and installing it around that removable ring that you use to place the disposable liners around) and the elastic around the edge helps to hold it in place. it's been working perfectly. of course, i brought two so that i could use one in the pail while other diapers were washing.
