I know this is a really quiet forum, but we may be traveling to Japan, and I would enjoy contacting any moms here who are Japanese or living in Japan.

We lived in northern Japan (Hokkaido) for four months last fall and winter... I might be able to help if you have some questions but wouldn't be able to meet you for a cup of coffee now...

Enjoy your trip! Our time there was a WONDERFUL experience!

Hi, I'm in Japan, in Nara.
Is your trip still pending?

Travel to Japan?

Hi; Did you go to Japan? We leave tomorrow. I am a little nervous about transportation. I visited Tokyo about 4 1/2 years ago. I REMEMBER the trains. Just that they were crowded. DD can handle an 8 hour car ride so hopefully she handles this. I will check this tomorrow. If anyone else has any information, can you send it my way?

Naha

Hi- does anyone have suggestions for things to do with children in Okinawa? We were just in Tokyo and LOVED it. So easy to get around. So clean. Especially the public bathrooms. Wish the US would take some notes...
