For those of you bloggers who sell direct ads on your site, how do you determine your price structure? I'm really struggling with what pricing is worth. I run a relatively small blog (1700 subscribers, 20-30K page views each month and about 4,000 unique visitors) in a niche topic and am just looking for a starting off point. Much of what I've seen varies DRAMATICALLY from one blog to another with no real rhyme or reason.

Well ... I thought I'd update. I run an affiliate network ad and just based my advertising prices on what I earn from them, adjusted slightly for size and placement. I've seen pricing advertised for as little as $10/mo to $1500/mo! Talk about a variety, KWIM?

I think it depends so much on your traffic and niche.

I charge about $10 a week, but discount for multiple weeks.
