Well, maybe it could. I had some mild ctx all day at work. Didn't time them, but I'd guess 20-30 min apart? On my way home from work, I stopped at a craft store to get string for my bead-swap bracelet, went to the bathroom there and had a tiny bit of pink-tinged show. Came home, ate dinner and started setting up the birth pool that the mw asst dropped off this morning(!) at my home visit. Contractions were still happening, and I decided to put on my stop watch to time them. For the past 2 1/2 hours they've been mostly 5 min apart (shortest 2.5 min, longest 6 min). I called the mw 30 min ago, and she said to try to sleep. If I'm not able to sleep for the contractions, I'm supposed to call her. I just (as I was starting to type this) went to the bathroom...more bloody show.
Wow! I've got to go try to sleep. MW is staying at her house that's 1.5 hours away (not her house that's 10 min away), so she wants to know sooner than later if I"m not going to be able to sleep. Sorry I've become a lurker lately, and not contributing much to our forum! I'll update in the morning...or as soon as I get a chance. Jen, if I'm not at LLL in the morning, you'll know why.
