I've been taking it from 1-3 times a day for about a week. Might try it vaginally, but I'm not all that anxious about things. Baby will come when s/he is ready & so long as my mom isn't here, it'll be just fine

i just started taking it 2 days ago so the jury is still out. i AM a little anxious because i've already been off of work for 5 weeks and that's 5 less weeks i get to spend with my baby (i get 12 total)

so, um, anything i can do to hasten the process, without necessarily evicting her.

I've been using it for the last week. We were also discussing it here - http://www.mothering.com/discussions....php?t=1044076 I haven't started taking it vaginally, kind of scares me.

I've used it for past pg and it has really helped in getting the cervix ready.

On another board I'm on, there is a woman who swears up and down that Borage oil is more effective - something about twice the amount of GLA? (I'm probably wrong) But I've been doing my research and will start one or the other in the next week or two. Orally and vaginally.

It won't start contractions, but it wil get the cervix working - in my opinion, experience.

My midwife recommended it vaginally, so I'm going to trust her opinion on it. Of course she did say that it's only to help things along, not necessarily to get things started.

I'm going to buy some tomorrow to start taking.

I've been taking it orally 2X a day for over a week, but haven't seen any results yet. I've dilated a little (less than a cm more), but not enough to say it was due to the EPO.
