Ring Sling help

Thread Starter
I bought a ring sling to wear my baby in, I have watched you tube videos and read instructions and I can not figure out how to get baby in the sling, not just in the sling but how to wear him in it. I feel so stupid but I just cant figure it out. So I am wondering if anyone on here can help me. Thank you in advance!

First, can you answer a few questions? There are quite a few different holds, and some things can help us figure out what might help you the most.
How old is your child?
If they're an infant, are you broad or narrow?
What kind of Ring sling? Padded, unpadded, lightly padded, open tail or closed tail, etc.

Also, when you try, what do you do and how does it not seem to work?

There's a learning curve, but hopefully we'll be able to help you through it

I have tried to get him to lay in it, and to more sit up in it and both failed, I also watched you tube videos to try to see how to nurse in a sling. I got it so I could NIP and so I could go for walks with him. As for not working, its like hes not tight or secure in it at all. And he looks broken like a elbow macaroni noodle trying to bend around a oak tree.

My son is 13 days old, I am big right now and dont see myself being narrow anytime soon, and Its a unpadded open tail sling. Hope this helps... if you need to know anything else just let me know.
