I need some help. I can't find the answer to this. Does every state (specifically Illinois) allow labortory confirmation of immunity instead of the 2nd MMR? Under the immunization section of the Kindergarten physical form were check boxes for laboratory confirmation of disease to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Chickenpox, but everything else that I've read only says confirmation of disease can allow you to opt out of the 2nd dose.
I'm torn between doing a religious exemption (because I already have one kid in the school with full vax records on file) and just doing DTP and Polio if I can get an exemption. We live on a farm full of farm animals and poo and my son has asthma so I was thinking about finishing the DTP series anyway.
