Stomach over ribs?

Anyone else have the issue when they sit down that there baby belly actually comes up over the outside of there ribs? When I stand the baby kicks my ribs constantly but when I sit its feet will go over the outside over the outside of my ribs. Just curious.

Yes!

Sometimes he'll get up under them and it hurts. I gently press him down and over the top of the ribs.

Definately yes. Sitting is really uncomfortable.

yep me too. i just thought it because i was so short the babies feet had nowhere else to go.

YES! I thought this was so strange . . . it did not happen to me when I was pg with dd. In fact, baby's feet sometimes kind of get stuck there and he kicks at it hard!!

I was laughing about this just last night. It felt like her butt was hanging out and around my ribs. It is such a strange feeling to have something rigid between your ribs and pelvic bone!

I did keep getting feet in my ribs, but baby is much lower now, so I just have hands playing with my hip bones.
