I just got this adorable book for us to read to the kids for xmas, it's called Chrsitmas Day in the Morning by Pearl S. Buck. I love the story and the pictures are so pretty...

Anyone else have holiday books they like to read to the kids?

A Christmas Stocking Story, by Hilary Knight.
It is so cute! It's 6 animal friends who put out their stockings, only the stockings are all mixed up, so the presents go to the wrong animals and they are all miffed and then they re-gift everything and everyone is happy. The language has a really nice rhythm and the illustrations are charming. (Hilary Knight is the man who illustrates the Eloise books)
