i am a book worm. have been ever since i was a kid. remember for my 5th bday i got tonnes of books and a few toys. i dont really think i played much with toys.
anyways i was reading the other bawling thread and found i had read a lot of the titles there. and though i could identify and was moved, i just never cried. EVER!!!! i remember from my teenage years being really moved by Roots. i read the book in one sitting. i stayed up night and day and just took breaks to eat.
i do bawl over movies and music. esp. where animals were involved and now after my dd's birth - children. but never books. but i am also the nonromantic type. cant stand those sappy hallmark cards.
also i find whether movies or books, i respond emotionally to it, depending on how i am feeling at the present moment. what's going on in my life. some books i 'read' and some of them upon reading later on again i was really, really moved.
