BabyHawk?

I'm wondering if any one is using BabyHawk carrier. ? Do you like it? There is only one review on the product last year. So, I"m wondering if it is still popular.

I have a Babyhawk, and it is extremely comfortable, even for a toddler. It's pretty as can be, and I get a TON of compliments on it. If you are looking for a mei tai, though, look for one that cups the shoulder. I have a Maya Tie, and I love it even more than the Babyhawk. The straps on the Maya Tie cup the shoulders, rather than the Babyhawk, which has padded straps that sit on the shoulders. I can wear DS longer in the Maya Tie because my shoulders don't get as sore.

I have one and love it! I too get a ton of compliments on it. We dont see alot of babywearing around here at all but I ran into another mom at our local airport and she was wearing her baby and we had a quick convo about how much we loved our carriers. I got one with dark colors so even DH is comfortable using it out and about (he wouldnt use a pastel one for instance). I am plus size so I wanted something I could feel comfortable in without having short straps or ties cutting into me. This works very well!

Lots of people LOVE the babyhawk. I prefer the kozy b/c I have BIG babies and they feel more secure with more fabric.

I hate anything that cups the shoulders myself- personal preference.

Loved mine from about 3-9 months. Wore it constantly. I think it's still about the best-selling MT on the market, that or Kozy.

I have a Toddlerhawk (not that you can really tell, but it's in my av pic). I like it and it's supportive enough for my 25 lb, 23 month old. At first I didn't care for the headrest (it can be folded down) but it has grown on me.

we love our babyhawk!

I used my baby hawk when DD was under six months but after that I found it pretty uncomfortable. It doesn't distribute the weight very well. If I were you, I would save my money and get something else.

I LOVE my Toddlerhawk! I've had slings, Sutemi carrier and now a Toddlerhawk and it is by far my favorite! I'm a plus sized mama and non-buckle straps give me the room i need to adjust freely. I have one that has minky on the inside and it is to die for! I'd definitely recommend getting a babyhawk

really stupid question - just got the babyhawk, and the straps are so long. when i look at the pictures of moms with this carrier, i dont see straps hanging out - what do you do with them?
...Keep wrapping them around you till they fit (we have one with extra long straps so my DH can wear it too), tie them in a bow or bunch, or kind of tuck/fold them into the part tied around your waist.
We love ours for newborn on up. I am wearing my 17 month old in it right now.
