Pick my new diaper!

Thread Starter

I'm in need of a new diaper. I'd prefer a pocket diaper since we are all set for prefolds, atm. We currently use BG3.0s and Happy Heinys OS, I think I'd like to try something else.
Dd is 14 months, 17 lbs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

We love our Fuzzi Bunz.

i like BumGenius best but we also like Motherease One Size Fitteds (i know, not a pocket) and i don't have a problem with Baby Kangas but we haven't had those for that long. i've really only used them on an infant (he's almost 5 months now) and for a very short time on my older son, who was 2.5 at the time. i use BG inserts in them. i have 2 Fuzzi Bunz diapers and they're pretty good so far, though i bought a Large (so dumb) so that one isn't in use.

I love my fuzzi bunz.

I'd also REALLY like to try a OS blueberry.

Ditto on FB - give those a try.

I think if you want cheap some FB seconds would be good to try. I had some of those for DD and they worked great. The only problem was she was allergic to the fleece, which took me a couple weeks to figure out but the diaper itself was great. Now, what to do with those 24 small fuzzi bunz I bought? Oh well, live and learn.

If you are open to a AIO, I love Dream-Eze and Bum Genius OS (not the sized AIO). Both have organic cotton inners and dry quickly.

For pockets, have you tried Pocket Change?

If you are budgeting about $18 you could get 2 fuzzibunz seconds for about $11! I love buying on sale...get more for you money! I buy my seconds from here: http://www.clothdiaperclearance.com/

I have always been happy with what I have gotten. But, don't buy the whammies, they are a pain to un-hook

Some new to me diapers that I have tried and like are Dream-Eze and Pocket Change. I do like FB too! Baby Kangas are not bad as well if you want to stick with an OS.

Haute Pockets are only $9.99 and they are one of my favorite diapers.

Off to look at fluff.

I vote for you to try Pocket Change. You don't have to take out the insert, it agitates out in the wash. I've used mostly HH's & Huggabuns, but I am in the process of converting my stash to PC and seliing most of my other dipes.

If you wanted to stay with OS diapers I'd go with the new Fuzzi Bunz OS or perhapse wait and see how the new Gro Baby OS diapers are going to be

If you are okay with a non-stay-dry lining material, you could check out the Swaddlebees Eco-Nappi -- it's a OS pocket, generously sized (will fit longer than your BG 3.0 OS), with an organic cotton velour inner. The included insert is 2 thicknesses of hemp and one thickness of organic cotton velour, in a snappable tri-fold design that dries fast. I have been impressed with the quality, and it comes in either snaps or velcro closure. It's a pricier diaper, but I do think it wears well (especially if you go with the snap closure).

(Note I did have early issues with leaks with the first one of these I bought -- Swaddlebees replaced it and I have had no trouble since... in fact I've purchased a couple more.)

I adore Rump-a-Rooz and Swaddlebee Econappi's. Pricey but incredible.

If you are wanting to stick with a one size to try I would also recommend trying the Rocky Mountain Diaper One Size or new Fuzzi Bunz One size, or Wahmies. I do love my BG's, but there are so many other good options too!
