My first was 8 days late and man, that was hard! I feel for you and hope your baby gets here soon. Just remember, even though each day seems SO long, your baby WILL be here soon.

I'm sorry mamma. I totally know what it feels like. With my babies I've been 12 days late, then 4, then 6, and my last one on his due date (early for me!). Those late ones though are SO tough. It never fails that I break down at some point and just cry my eyes out. You just get SO TOTALLY DONE! Hormones are all over the place and you feel like you'll never get that baby out of you. Hugs coming your way.

I hear ya She2Dancer-
I have 4 days until my DD and should have joined up here rather than read about all the babies in the Feb DDC. ALL of my friends who have had babies in the last 3 months have come early! And they have all been first timers! Sheesh. Since I have had some showers at work and w family lately, my husband says that this baby will not come until the final Thank you note is mailed. I am almost ready to believe him! 5 more to go!! I keep on hoping my two kitties will notice something different about me before I do... Alas, zilch on any "signs".

Thanks Mamas! Still hanging in here But I took a dip in my birth pool this evening and it was heavenly...ahhhhhh....I felt light and free....

....until I stood up out of the water

in good spirits for now....just wish I would start getting some kind of signal my body is preparing to birth this child
