Has anyone made flats or prefolds with bamboo terry?

I am looking at buying a bolt of bamboo french terry, and would be able to get 26 flats plus lots of extra fabric for wipes and doublers out of it. However, I have never tried bamboo for diapers so want to make sure this is a good choice!

Does anyone have experience with this fabric?
Thanks for any thoughts!

I've made a few prefolds with bamboo terry and they turned out nicely... I'm sure it would work well for wipes, breast pads or mama pads, too (can use up your scraps!)

I don't know that I would use french terry for WIPES, but for flats/prefolds and doublers, absolutely. Make sure it's good french terry (there is some not-so-good bamboo french terry that's sold from time to time. Just make sure you know what you're getting.)

Thankyou!

I'm not totally sure how I would tell if it's good or not. I chose the place I was looking at because I'm in Canada, and this stuff is made, and sold, here. Maybe I should buy a yard and try it out before buying a bolt? I have lots of time, not due until September...
