How many pairs of sheets do you own?

I was cleaning out my linen closet and wondered how many pairs of sheets one person needs? I would like to pair it down to one pair for DH and me, one pair for my 13 year old, and two pairs for my 4 year old and one spare pair for company. Typically I wash all the sheets in the house the same day every week and then put those sheets back on the bed. With the exception of the 4year old who sometimes still has accidents at night, none of my extra sheets ever get used. How many pairs of sheets do you have?

DH and I have four for our bed, and the kids have two each.

We have two for our bed, one for the kids. I do like having two sets, so that if one is being washed I don't have to freak out about getting them dried in time for bed. Plus if one set gets ripped, you don't have to immediately go out and buy another set.

My plan is to have two sets per bed, plus one extra. Currently, all my beds are twin sized, and we have 5 of them, so we need 11 sets of sheets. If I still had a queen sized bed in the house, I'd want 3 sets for that bed. I have visions of changing the sheets "because it's time to change them", then, while those are in the wash, somebody vomits or pees on the clean set- necessitating the third set.

Since it's unlikely that will happen to all the beds in the house at the same time, ONE extra set of sheets per size is adequate.

Currently, I need to declutter my sheets because we just bought some new ones and haven't donated any old ones yet. Plus, we now have thicker mattresses (except for the spare mattress we keep under the bunk bed) so some of the older, "less full cut" sheets no longer fit on anything but the guest bed- so we don't need more than 2 of those. I also have WAY more pillowcases than we need- somehow, we've managed to accumulate more pillowcases than sheets over the years.

We have 1 extra for our bed. The kids just have one set.

You want more than 1. 2 for me is ideal.

If something liquidous happens in the wee hours you don't want to sit up all night waiting for clean sheets.

We used to have a lot but I read somewhere that two seats per bed is more than enough. One on the bed and one in the wash or cupboard. My toddler's sheets are another story though.....I have tons!! I think maybe it's time to purge those, I don't even like most of them, lol.

I found that the pair I kept in the drawer was still getting allergen-a-riffic, so I pared it all down.

We have two fitted sheets (in case of nighttime emergency) and one top sheet for our bed. I also have two tightly woven flannel pads that I put underneath the spot where DS sleeps. I alternate those. We wash weekly and put the sheets and blankets back on the bed.

We have one set of sheets for the (guest) futon, as well. We have two sleeping bags we zip together for camping. We have one set of sheets (actually, two sheets sewn together to form a liner/envelope) for that set-up.

I do have several pillowcases, but I have some pretty severe allergies and find that frequent pillowcase changing helps dramatically.

We have two pair and DS has three, I believe. I would like to get one more pair for H and I, but will hold off. We're wanting to get a King size bed and all new bedroom furniture soon, so that'll mean all new bedding. YAY!! :

Our bed - two complete sets of Queen size sheets
DD's bed + trundle underneath that pops up to match her bed - three complete sets of Twin size sheets

Air-mattress - one complete set of Full size sheets and one set of Full size sheets (minus pillow cases somehow???)

Then we have a few random pillow cases.

We have three sets and DS has about 4 for his crib. I also have a few sets of sheets for our old twin bed that is in storage- I may get rid of those.

I have no idea! We have 4 sets (I think) for our King bed, and a whole ton of fitted sheets for the toddler beds (so crib size).

I know I felt the need for more full and twin fitteds because I bought a few of each size when I saw them on sale last weekend. We just got a new couch that has a pull-out bed, so I wanted to have a couple for that, too.

I should probably organize and purge my linen closet to find out!

I have 3 sets that fit the queen beds in our room & the guest room. LO has 2 sets for his crib & 2 for his co-sleeper.

We have 3 sets for our bed, though one is a new set that someone bought us for the holidays and now I need to figure out which set it is going to replace.

The kids each have 2 sets of flannel and 2 set of cotton that seasonally get changed out.

Three Full sets for the Guest bed
Three sheets for the Crib
Four sheets for the Pack N Play

I think that is more than enough, honestly!
