baby wearing making baby zitty?

My 5 weeks old baby girl has had some pretty nasty baby acne since about 2 weeks old, but the last week or so it has been getting way worse, and spread to her chest and back. It was so bad today that I took her to the doctor b/c I thought it was a rash! Doc said it looks like it's just bad baby acne and that we should - among other things - try and avoid getting her sweaty. The increase and spreading of the acne has coincided with an increase in me wearing her in my maya/moby wrap (never know which one it is! the big peice of cloth you tie around you. . .) She loves being in it and I love putting her in it and wearing her all day long, but we bot hget awful sweaty, so the doc thinks we should lay off it, and see if it clears up.
Anyone else have this problem? Any helpful tips?
thanks!

Baby acne to super common and usually flares at 5 weeks. Getting hot and sweaty does make it show up more, so does washing with soap. Mostly it'll just take time to go away no matter what you do. After a few weeks it should decrease, some babes get it for a week or 2, some for a few months.

Yep x 100.

I think its just a coincidence that the acne showed up with the moby.

you could try wearing her in the cross carry as opposed to the frot wrap cross carry, in other words, don't pull the middle piece up over the baby. or, if you think you'll like wrapping for the long term, invest in a lighter woven wrap that may not be so hot. the moby is pretty warm.

Baby acne can definately get worse when the baby gets sweaty, you might try wrapping her with her shirt off while you're at home.
