Laundry/static question

I hope it's okay I'm posting this here, I figured CD'ing mamas would know about this since most don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets.

So... I stopped using fabric softener and dryer sheets when I started CD'ing and using eco-friendly detergents (Charlie's, Allen's, currently using Country Save). I use vinegar in place of fabric softener on our clothes. My husband and I have been experiencing a lot of static on some of our clothes, especially synthetic-fabric workout pants. Does anyone know a good solution for this? TIA for any replies

In my dryer I have 4 dryer balls (I bought them at Bed bath & beyond) and 2 reusable dryers sheets. They are made from a special fabric and don't have chemicals in them, so they are safe to use. I still get some static, but less than with nothing (not as good as with dryer sheets - but I'm trying to stay away from the chemicals). I got the fabric dryer sheets as my local natural food store. Looks like the name brand is Static Eliminator Reusable Dryer Sheets.

Are those dryer balls only available at Bed Bath & Beyond? I've looked when I've been to other stores cuz I don't make it there too often, but since this winter doesn't seem to be ending, I might just have to make that extra trip.

I've sprayed things with diluted vinegar after they come out of the dryer. They smell kinda vinegar-y for a while till they dry, but I don't mind that as much as the static. It seems to help.
