guess who made her grand debut today!!! UPDATE: Pics added to blog!

eden made her way out of my uterus this afternoon at 12:52 after a very intense 14 hour labor followed with 3 hours of pushing. i was exactly 39 weeks. we are totally in love, she is so beautiful and calm and i can't stop staring at her.

birth story and pics to come soon, but her stats are:

eden evelyn
born 2/23/09
12:52 p.m.
7lbs 4.4oz
21.5 inches long.

had a slow start and was whisked away to nicu for a couple of hours but she's fine and with me now. i'm recovering well, no tears even though she shot out of me with one huge push.
