Nope, not surprised at all. Sad though.

Um, you do realize this article is about a year and a half old & that we have a new administration in Washington, right? It's completely irrelevant, and until the Obama administration does something supportive of breastfeeding, it's political silliness.

This is a very old story but there was going to be a congressional investigation into this. I never heard what happened with the investigation. Harry Reid, where are you? You promised!

Um, it's interesting that you say that considering it showed up on my computer yesterday (under rss feed of new articles from wired). In any case I don't think it is irrelevant at all! I also don't think it's political silliness, i think it is an actually problem that needs to be fixed.

Sounds like a feed glitch. The Washington Post expose back in August of 2007 (the date of the Wired piece) was about an HHS project that happened in, I think, 2005. Not sure what you think needs to be fixed because it is over. I was hoping the promised congressional investigation would lead to some firings but the change of administration has probably taken care of that.
