Looking for best value for prefolds/pull on covers.

I've been using my usual prefolds with nylon pull on covers and no complaints.

However, a lot of my diapers are wearing out (getting holes, rips even) and my covers too! The place I used to buy them from locally doesn't exist anymore.

I would love to have some suggestions for good quality prefold diapers (I don't care if they're seconds, just want max absorbancy, etc.) and pull on covers...the best value $$$ wise.

I wholeheartedly recommend prefolds from www.greenmountaindiapers.com. They're excellent quality, very absorbent and so far hold up very well. I use the unbleached, which she is currently out of stock for some sizes, but I think she should have more soon. Also have heard good things about the prefolds at www.little-lions.com, but have not used them.

I use both Bummi Whisper Pants and Dappy nylon pants as covers and have to honestly say that I like the Dappi ones better. You can get two for $4 here:

Bummi pants are $6 each, for price comparison. I actually like the fit of the Dappi ones better and they don't seem to hold on to stains like the Bummis. I find the quality to be about the same.

I really like Little Lions ubipf's... good prices and even better if you can find a co-op For covers I like pro-wraps and I have some thirsties XS to try on the new babe. While I do like the Bummi's original covers I find they hold the pee smell and you can't wipe and reuse them as you can w/ the prowraps and thirsties.

oops... sorry I just saw that you were interested in pull on covers. I did have some Dappi covers that I did like but I honestly prefer the aplix covers.
