My thanks and congratulations to whomever it was here a few months ago who suggested the most wondrously brilliant answer I've ever heard to that tired old circ-excusing line: "Yes, it'll hurt, but he won't remember it."
He or she here in this forum said a great comeback to that bit of idiocy is, "So as long as he won't remember it, would it be all right if he was molested, then?"

Since first reading it here I've used that sentence three times in circ discussions and it stopped the other party cold and hopefully made them think about what they were saying. So whoever you are who suggested that reply, you are so darn cool!
