Chicken pox parties in Florida? - Page 2

please message me if anyone finds chicken pox in south florida... i'll be interested in a few months.

Oh, I think we're up for it now! The little one is finally over 12m, and the big one isn't in school or therapy for a little while. Perfect timing, if we can get it together.
Count me in!

By the way, has anyone seen this? It tracks keywords on Twitter (soon to be Facebook, according to the site)- including 'chicken pox'. Interesting.

At this rate, it'll be months before any pox are available!
Looks like they're having a little action in VA and MD, but that seems like a little far to travel. Maybe they'll move south?

I am unsure as to what age to expose them. I have a 5, 3 and 1 yr old. Does anyone have info on this?

We'd love the pox, too!! Mine are 6, 4 and 1 and 1/2.

Looks like we will most likely be contracting in the next couple-few days, in SW FL.

Will update when I have more details.

we will be traveling to the Orlando area at the end of the month and I don't mind exposing my kids on vacation. so if anyone around there gets them I would love to visit you
I can't travel too far since we are staying with my mom and using her car. Thanks!

RANDOM LURKING LURKER THAT LURKES....

I went to a pox party when I was like 7.
Has anyone ever seen the South Park episode about this exact same thing?

I'm in SW FL also. I wouldn't mind DD1 getting the pox before she starts school in the fall. DD1 is 15 months. I've actually never had them either.

No, alas, my children didn't actually contract chicken pox, otherwise I would have advertised a get-together or two. Blech! So I'm also still looking.

Don't forget, if you hear of anyone with shingles, touching the oozing blisters (yum! ha!) is one way of contracting chicken pox.
