Just wanted to drop by here and say 'Hi'.
Im Sophie, an English girl married to the US Airforce. I think my husbands family view me as a weirdo English hippie heehee I am mummy to Samuel who has just turned one.
After a VERY traumatic start to breastfeeding I ended up pumping all of his milk until shortly before his 1st birthday, this included pumping on planes, in cars, in restrooms at airports...yeah, you get the idea, im quite the pumping pro haha ....at least, I was! I had a wonderful birth in the UK, with just a midwife and my husband, no medical intervention at all, I am SO glad it worked out that way and gives me great hope for future children.
My husband is active duty airforce and so he works odd shifts and is away frequently
which means im often a single parent...a lonely one at that as im 6000miles from my wonderful family
Anyway, I talk too much
nice to meet you all
