SO I want to buy some wool yarn

but I dont know what weight to buy. Do I buy the 4 ply merino or the 8 ply merino, both are worsted weights. This is for soakers/longies/etc. And it will probably be treliske or a recommendation from you>? Its been soo long since I have done this. Pregnant memory is not helping.
