Im so ready to be done, anyone eles?

Over a week ago I started getting contractions every night. Will last for a few hours, pretty close together, then stop. Im getting kinda pissed, lol. Its like start or stop man, really! I am dilated 3 cm thou, so I guess they are doing something.

Yes! Its 2am and I can't sleep. I am so frustrated! I want for this baby to come today soooo bad!!

I'm "done" too, but have to get over this head cold before I go into labor so I'm fine to wait another 2 weeks. I've never gone before my due date before so I'm not anticipating I would now. I'm afraid if I went into labor now, I'd be too weak to get through it so... I'd prefer my lo bake awhile longer, even though I'm so ready to get him out of me! It's a weird place to be in.

I am done too. I too have been having contractions at night and then stops in the morning. Which is really annoying. One week left until my due date and I have always been on time so I think ( maybe) I will be able to do that. I am 3 cm too and my MW said that I will probably have the baby this week so I had my hopes up but I really have to tell myself that it could be another week.

We will be holding our LO really soon

I hope you feel better soon.

To the OP, yes, I'm done. I've been "done" for a while, lol. I just have to wait on baby to be done.

Had my 38 week OB appt yesterday. No changes with my cervix: 50% effaced and 2 cm dilated. He did a little stripping to see if we could get things going. Nothing. So, we'll just have to be patient.

Ugh, Laura I could have written that post word for word. I am 3cm and 100% effaced, and sooooooo done! I wouldn't mind staying pregnant for little while longer if only this darn false labor would go away and stop killing me every night.

Think I can give up pregnancy for Lent?
I don't know if I am done or if I just want the baby to stay in there because I feel so unprepared.

Last night I felt like I won't ever go into Labor because everything is in such an uproar with construction and remodeling around here. My DP says it will be finished in about 2 weeks. It's crazy!

I was up all night mourning my pregnancy. I really wanted things to be different, I really feel like I need a home and a nest before I can be "done". Now I am being moved again while they rip out a wall and put in new plumbing that will be using toxic materials. So for the next few days I have to pack up and leave AGAIN! So frustrating.

So I guess I feel done...but my outward life doesn't feel like it is very condusive to brining a child into the world.

Anyone else feel "done", but not prepared logistically?

I keep telling DH I have started thinking this baby will never be born. I don't know why, just a feeling I have. DD1 came at 38 weeks, DD2 came at 39 weeks, so I know it's just going to take a little longer for this one. But I want her out NOW. Doesn't help that going by my originally EDD I would be 39w1d now. And thus officially more pregnant than I've ever been. But well... guess I just need more patience. ~sighs~ Not something I've ever been very good with.

I am all for it. I have been trying to decide what to give up for lent. Can't give up to much food because I'm pregnant. My preist said that being pregnant is pentence enough but I think giving that up would work out good for me too.

With all the PTL I have been dealing with I have been ready to be done but just today I have decided to settle back in my pregnancy and remember I still actually have a month until my EDD! I want to enjoy these last few weeks since this may be my last.

I'm totally done with pregnancy, but not at all ready for labor!

And GoddessJ, I feel you on not being ready logistically. My baby is still breech, the midwife is out of town until next week, and I can't pick up my birth pool for like another 10 days. So the baby has to wait at least that long, and TURN AROUND! (But at least my house isn't toxic, so I'll try to be grateful for that!)

Done. I am only at 35w4days though. I could not walk yesterday afternoon due to the pain in my hips.

I am planning a weekend away this weekend, so I do want baby to stay put until at least monday....

Yes! I'm due on sunday, and as of this afternoon I am officially ready to NOT be pregnant anymore!

I'm 2cm and 90% effaced . . .

I am SO done. I am 35 weeks and 3 days but I feel like this little guy is already 8 pounds and may just fall out at any time. I didn't have any of this pressure with my previous pg. No fun!

Done with stuffiness, not being able to walk & waiting. Totally not done with being able to feel my baby move inside me & feeling good about my belly for the first time ever, though. Give me back breathing, a working pelvis & a memo when the baby's coming, I'm good for at least a few more weeks.

I'm really not that uncomfortable but I'd really like to meet my LO now.
