I saw the last LOTR last night! Holy cow was that wonderful and a totally intense mindblowing experiance!!!!

Now I want to go and see it again. And again.

and again.

and maybe all three all over again. Because they are so good.

and I wanna snuggle up next to the lead rider of Rohan. What is that mans name? yummy.

Did I mention how fantastic this movie was ? Or how shaken and weak I was when it was over, or the fact that I sat perfectly still for over three hours and I cried and held my breath and yes, at times closed my eyes because I was scared..........so good!!!!

ok, now I guess I have to resume normal life .

I think I'm in love.

You mean Eomir. He is definately a hottie, I will have to agree about the snuggeling from him.

He becomes King of Rohan when Theoden dies but I don't think they came out and said it..

Rohan has always been my favorite race in the books.

I cried through the whole charge scene. They do do that in a part of the books, and it is SO overwhelming to see it on film. The whole thousands of Riders charging onto Pellenor fields made me cry like crazy..it was damn cool.

Oh god Abimommy, that was amazing, wasn't it? Avonlea, I agree with everything you felt. My friend was driving us home and she was just about whatever else is happening in the world and I was so into my head and the movie I wasn't even listening. AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaach. I am all consumed by it still, 3 days later.

My husband and I had to take turns seeing it (2 y.o. at home) and now we want to keep seeing it again and again. I'm glad I'm not the only one who cried through the whole thing. Anyone else like me and trying to figure out ways to name their future children after the story / characters? :LOL I think Rohan or Theoden would be an awesome name. Anyways, I'm still consumed with it too, and I think I even dreamed about LOTR last night.

I just saw this today with dh. Honestly I think I cried thru the whole movie, afterwards I had such a headache from crying I loved it soooo much and I am so happy/ sad because it is over and also because it was such a great movie experience. I loved the line with Gandolf and Pippin when Pippin is looking towards Mordor and says" It is so quiet" and Gandolf gives what i think is the best line in the movie " It is the big breath before the blunge" I don't want to give away anything more but I just wanted to finally pop ina nd say I saw it and loved it.

Also C&L- I met a mom at LLL this month whose baby was named Pippin, and I am almost positive LOTR was their motivation because she came to the LLL meeting for advice on how to pump so she could see LOTR over her Xmas vacation. I am so obsessive at some point during the movie I actually thought about her and was hoping it worked out for her.

I'd love to name a kid after some part of the movies, but dh is no fan, so I may have to settle for naming my pets merry and pippen!

Owensmom - that is what dh and I do. He is a fan of this movie called "Rosengrantz and Gildenstern are dead". Those are the two guys in Hamlet that were supposed to kill Hamlet, anyway it is this very analitical/satire movie he loves so we named our cats Rosengrantz and Gildenstern. To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorit movie, so we have a hamster named Boo Radley, a cat named Scout and a turtle Nmaed Atticus. Also we had a cat named Harold after our favorite movie "Harold and Maude" DD wants a bunny and I want to name it Gandolf, i just love saying that name

I actually know someone named Rohan. I believe he is from Sri Lanka. He is a great guy! I loved the name when I met him.

we can't wait

somehow we'll have to figure this out with our Samwise age 8 months (actually his name is Samuel Wise...we call him Samuel, Sam or of course Samwise)

Is it too loud to try to take him and sling him at like a midnight showing when he is super in sleep mode???
