Educational computer games for almost-3-yr-old?

I'm looking for alternatives to TV for when I want to take a shower or be on the computer. Am working with DS on learning to play by himself but it's SLOW going.

Any computer games you might recommend? A friend recommended the Sesame Street Preschool cd-rom but it got horrible reviews on Amazon. I'm looking for something that might teach him reading skills, etc. He knows his alphabet and numbers very well, can use a keyboard, and is decent with a mouse.

Does he like Starfall.com? My almost 4 yo spends a lot of time there. I'm not sure about CD's but definitely recommend that web site if he doesn't already use it.

I bought a vtech internet launch pad thing for times when I wasn't right there with DS (like you, in the shower) because he tends to click on icons and mess up files. It only allows a couple certain websites (PBS programs are the keys I have) but it will entertain him for a little while.

My 3 year old really likes his leapfrog clickstart.

Another vote for Starfall.com.

The pbskids.org site also has some good things (Word World especially has been a wonderful added tool for us in helping our toddler learn to read).
