I wanna share my apron!

I'm nomally a knitter and have basic sewing skills but in general get super frustrated with it all. I've been wanting an apron for the longest time but didn't want to try and ruin my fabric and get mad and all that. I spent almost all day yesterday looking at some on flickr (holy time sucker!) and found some design elements I wanted. I found some fabric I wouldn't be sad messing up (I could always make it into beanbags ). I got to work last night and while there are some things I'm sure I could work on (mostly finishing details) overall I LOVE it. Now that I have an idea of how to do it and know what I like I'll be making more with the fabric I originally wanted to use.

Aww thanks. I'm a bit....ocd about that sort of thing. They actually aren't that even. I can tell when I put it on. :

I love it! It's my "tester" apron and I love it. I can't wait to make another using my "good" stuff.
