My mom and dad were visiting this past weekend, and my mom gave me a box of patterns and a big thing of knit fabrics that are Stretch n Sew. She told me this was pretty big back in the 70s and early 80s, so now I have all these retro patterns and fabrics. She used to make clothes for myself and my siblings and her and my dad too. I got a serger for Christmas, so I was wondering if anyone here ever had experience with these and knew how to adapt them to use with a serger?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

my mom made almost all of our cloths when we were babies & used mostly the stretch n sew patterns. I'd think you could just sew the seams w/ your serger like you would w/ a regular sewing machine just be careful not to cut any material off w/ the knife. Also I'd use all 4 threads b/c one is a straight stitch.
