starting to feel somewhat human again

Thread Starter
so, i have been feeling better these past few days. i even had a day without any serious nausea. wow! the exhaustion is getting to be less and less and i am feeling a bit more personable. sounds scary doesn't it? i actually feel somewhat human again.

oh, but it is all being counteracted by my bulging waistline. yes, i am ballooning up. it is much much earlier than with dd. bikini in january and stretch pants in february. what happened? it is all good!

how are you other mamas feeling these days. second trimester here we come!:::

2nd tri!!! when does that start, is it week 12 or 13? anyway...i have been feeling OK. some days are pretty darned good, besides being a little tired. other days i may have some nausea in the morning for a few hours and/or extreme fatigue. the nausea however is maybe two -three days per week, not often at all. still getting pretty hungry on most days and the boobs are sore again and the veins on the boobs...where did they come from?? oh my back is already starting to hurt. plus recently i had some mild off and on cramping which even though i hear is VERY NORMAL, i got paranoid. anyone been having vivid dreams? my goodness! the other night i had a dream i was fighting with my husband and i yelled out in my sleep in an audible voice "F*%@King" he was cracking up as he wasn't asleep yet!

week 13 I believe. It's been a while for me.

I am 9 wks at this point and the m/s has waned a little bit this week. I can go a day or two feeling somewhat good and then it strikes again though, so I know I'm not completely out of it yet. It's been the same with all of my pregnancies though, always ends within the last few weeks of the first tri.

I too have been getting thicker around the waist and my face is getting plump. I was a little underweight so the weight gain is okay so soon but I've only gained 4 lbs on the scale. I can't believe how much I feel bloated and my b00bs are ginormous and my puffy face. I look like I've gained way more than 4 lbs.

I was just coming on to post this same thing. I'm 10 weeks, and for the past week, my symptoms (major nausea and fatigue mostly) have been getting less and less. Then today I woke up and I wasn't nauseous at all! Hooray! This is the same time I started losing the nausea as in my last pregnancy, so maybe this is just normal for me. Although, of course, I have that little voice saying "what if something's wrong???". But I'm choosing to ignore that and just appreciate not feeling like puking all day. I have my first appointment on Monday, so hopefully that will go well. Hooray for feeling normal!

yes!! I keep saying this too. Once warm, spring weather gets here I'll feel really good! Today it got up to 65 degrees and it felt sooooo nice outside. I'm definitely glad I'll be pregnant during spring and summer this time around. I feel so icky now while it's cold outside and I'm sick at the same time for some odd reason (I'm sure I'm a little OCD )

send some of those good feelings my way, if you can! I'm 11 weeks today and still feeling exhausted & so sick (since week 6, ugh). I'm feeling hopeful though that it'll get better soon!
