Why is peanut oil not a TF? It's relatively easy to extract oil out of peanuts.

I'm not sure that it is considered non TF. Peanut oil is very heat stable, so if you are eating out and had to choose between a restaurant that uses peanut oil and another that uses some other vegetable oil, I'd choose peanut oil.
It is not recommended for use all the time since it's high in Omega 6 and someone eating a lot of peanut oil will be unbalanced in their Omega 6 and Omega 3 ratio. If using occasionally, stick to the expeller/cold press stuff as many conventional oils are high heat and chemically processed.
