Yes! Baby is finally born. She's asleep with her head resting upon my left forearm as I type.

She was born at two minutes to midnight on February 27, in the birth pool (which Daddy repaired) right here at home, over yonder in the kitchen.

It was awesome!!! I am so glad we had her here, by ourselves. Oh, I can hardly wait to write out the whole story. I was fascinated by the whole process myself, like being an audience and a participant at the same time.

I still don't know how much she weighs but going on the size of clothing that fits her I'm guessing 7.5 to 8 lbs, same as all my others. She's 19.5" long.

Thank you all for your loving support. I've been so encouraged by reading your comments as well as by reading past posts in this forum of the experiences and the quest for knowledge others have had.
