The baby dry is what we were told to use by the hancock ladies. That was a few months ago. We made one cover out of it and it does work! The hancocks here is selling the Pul for 11.99 and the baby dry is 8.99

To me the baby dry and the white pul look the same.

I just noticed on the JoAnns website that they are selling "Diaper Cloth White" which is 36" wide and 100% cotton. I can't tell if it is birdseye or what for the description and picture. Has anyone seen this or used it yet? The price is 4.99, which is more expensive than what Hancock is charging for their diaper fabric online right now (I think its on sale for 3.49?)

The JoAnn's diaper cloth is birdseye. It's thinner than I like for birdseye, but not terrible quality. Fabric Depot is better quality and costs less than either JoAnn's or Hancock's, IIRC, but I'm not sure if you can buy it through their website or if it's only available at the store.

I used the baby dry fabric from Hancock to make diapers before they started carrying PUL. It was just okay. A little bulkier than PUL and not as soft and flexible. It would be better for changing pads.

I am going to check my Hancocks and see if they have this! It would be great to be able to buy it locally! I looked at Joanns the other day just in case they might have something but of course they didn't.

Fabricdepot does sell diaper fabrics online now. They have diaper flannel, birdseye and white PUL. Because they seem to keep their online stuff on sell the birdseye is only 2.62 a yard.
