I'm a Susan...most "Susan's" are in their 50's by now LOL.

I'm 35, turning 36 this year. This is #3. I had #1 at 27, #2 at 29 and now #3 at 35.

We are military and "we" seem to tend to have kids young, so most of the mothers-to-be I meet are around 20-24. I'm the oldest by far LOL.

We are military too. I had my kids young, but they weren't with DH. This is DH's baby this time and we are both in our 30's and we are definantly the oldest on my area to have kids. Most of our friends have been done for a long time.

I'm 24 and will be almost almost 25 by the time the baby comes. I think among my circle of friends/acquaintences/classmates this is considered pretty average age to have a first baby. I'm seeing a lot of pregnant profile pictures on Facebook! A few are on their second, though.

I am 31. The twins are due very early June. My birthday is May 26. I was 20 when dd was born and 22 when ds was born and we are still planning another one or two..

I am 29, DH is also 29. (we will both be 30 by the time baby arrives)

I had #1@18, #2@20, #3@25, #4@27, and this is #5@30. I do not really KNOW anyone else who has 5 kids. I get lots of comments about how I need to schedule my tubes to be tied and burnt ASAP! It is a bit disturbing.

Well, I have five kids, too : ) I had #1 at 26, #2 at 28, # 3 at 31 (husband was deployed that year), #4 at 33, #5 at 35 and #6 is due this June and I'm 37. And that spacing was all due to breastfeeding and a couple of deployments : ) This is a great thread! Someone had mentioned putting this into a poll format to get a visual. That would be awesome.

I'm 26 now, and may be 27 when the baby is born. My birthday is June 4th, so all it takes is the for the baby to do what his big brother did and come three weeks early. I was 21 when we had our son. I got really sick of people asking me if we had help at home when we were in the hospital having him. I know we both looked really young, but that seemed really uncalled for.

I am 32, will still be 32 when the babe is born. The mr. is 33. This is our first, and among our group of friends its about usual (most are 28-34 it seems for their first)

we didn't get married until I was 29 (him 30) though we've been together since I was 25. But w/ grad school, and then trying to build a career, we weren't ready to start a family until now. I feel at a fine age in my social circle to start having kids, but here I feel kind of old! though I feel pretty young for my age, anyway. I figured I'd feel older at 32.

I am up for having two, this pregnancy has been remarkably easy so far so it hasn't made me not want another (I'm sure the last three months might get tougher!) but we'll see how parenting goes first, before making that decision. But I'd like to have 2 before 35, so we'll see how quickly we can decide on whether a second is in the cards. The mr. is an only child, and liked that, so he's not as big on the sibling thing.

Also military, but I don't know any other military wives. The ones I saw when I used to go to the naval hospital for my medical care scared me, though...literally every single one I saw looked like they wanted to jump off a bridge and were screaming at their kids, yanking them around by their arms, and they all smelled really strongly of smoke (kids too!) My DH works in the med clinic and he says 90% of the moms he sees are like this, and that happy families are rare in his clinic. I think that's really sad Maybe it's our area?? I want to know where my fellow MDC military moms are so I can become friends with them!

i am 27 and will be 28 shortly after the babe arrives. dh is 29. we had our first when i was 24. glad to see so many other mamas in their 20's. it doesn't feel that way in real life. everyone seems to be at least 6 years older than me.

21 prego with #1.... been married for 2 years...it was planned everyone. Ilanarose...that is hilarious...it happens to all of us youngins. You arent alone!!
