I was not expecting to be here. I'm late by a few weeks, (not sure the exact date of AF though) but didn't think too much about it. We don't DTD too often at all. (tired, not in the mood etc) I mean rarely as in I can count the times we've had intercourse in the past year on one hand. LOL

This is baby#5 for us. Pregnancy #7
I'm a bit shocked.
Really shocked.
Usually I pee on a stick, its negative and then my period comes a day later. I'm tandem nursing so sometimes that messes things up a bit too.

There is no mistaking it though. I got two bright lines instantly. I never get two bright lines. I've always gotten faint ones.

hi! Im also on number 5 (but I'm only nursing one baby.) and this pregnancy was a HUGE shock for us. We DTD more often, but we used birth control every single time with no mistakes. Yikes!

oh i totally know the feeling

i peed on a stick right before work monday morning, thinking the stark white field of nothingness where a pink line should be would ease my mind... yeah--two bright lines.
it was the "about time you noticed!" kind of positive

i had to call in, go home, and calm myself down emotionally. That was SO not what I was expecting at that moment

I was the same way when I got my positive HPT last month. I'm over 40 and DH and I rarely have sex and when we do I always remember the date because it's THAT infrequent. So when I test usually I always get a negative and then my period starts within a day or two. Not the case this time and I was totally and pleasantly surprised!! :
