Start CDing with toddler?

Hi! We may be welcoming a young toddler (18 mo-2yrs) into our home. Would it be worth it at this point to CD? What would you rec? (dipes, types, numbers?). I was thinking about using the Bummis stage 2 kit-but some of the all in ones look pretty cool!
Thanks!

one size fuzzi bunz (6 pack for 114.00) they come with an insert and a doubler. they fit my 2 year old perfectly, they are soft , comfy, cute. he has plenty of room to grow in them.
baby kangas (6 pack 104.00) same as the fuzzi bunz) with a child that age you don't need too many. 12-18 would be plenty. pockets are awesome for that age. prestuffed they are quick to put on, and snaps. hold up better than aplix plus it's a little harder for kids to get off they don't seem as tempted as with velcro. hth
\ETA: i used AIO's fpr a long time and hated them. i will never buy em again. they just don't seem to get really really clean. i think it is all the layers and then the dumb "sewn in doubler" flap that gets bunched up and poop gets all under it, and the pul being attatched doesn't allow water to run through to clean (as it is made to keep liquid from going through).

We started at 15 months. What you use will depend on how much money you have to spend!

Prefolds are the cheapest, and work fine, but my toddler hates diaper changes, so I try to avoid them. I need something that is easier to get on him! We prefer pockets, but they are pricy- so I sewed them to decrease the cost significantly.

I would definitly CD starting with a toddler, it's always worth it because you can usually sell or trade them later if you need to! Prefolds would definitly be the cheapest and I'm not sure how many come in the stage 2 kit, but you probably would just need around 18 diapers. Do you know how big this toddler is?

We started CDing DD1 at 15 months and found it rewarding. We got OS fitteds and some prefolds from Green Mountain Diapers. It worked well. Now, we have a new DD and she uses the diapers left from DD1. They can always be used on other children, donated, or sold when you are through. Helps with potty training too. I recommend a diaper sprayer to spray the poops and the potty when it comes time.

I would get a pocket diaper or an AIO - quick and easy to put on a busy toddler.
