i'm so tired. so, so, so tired. my kids are watching their 2nd hour of scooby doo, i can't get out of bed. i started losing my 'plug' earlier today (sorry for the TMI). i have horrendous diarrhea (more TMI, sorry again). i'm crampy and irritable and miserable. contractions come and go, are never regular or painful enough to be considered real though! i either need to have this baby or start feeling better. i seriously feel like hell right now, it's going to take all of my energy just to get off my butt and make a frozen pizza for the boys for dinner. the thought of food makes me personally want to yak. ahhhh, late pregnancy is so glamorous.

Sounds good. When I was on my second pregnancy, we actually recorded (this was way before tivo) eight HOURS of nick jr for my son. Just for days like this...he didn't spend the entire eight hours there, but it made my life easier.
Sorry. IS there any way you could set up a monkey platter on the table, and have snacks prepared on the bottom shelf of the fridge? We usually have that, plus each morning I fill up nine steel water bottles with ice and water for my 3yo so IF I'm done at the end of the day, I can just lay there and remind her that she 'gets' to pick her own snack out, and she 'gets' to pick out what color of water bottle she wants right now.

Ha, I had to laugh when I read your post, because in the first trimester I was so sick my kids watched hours of Scooby-doo. So much so that now if I hear the theme song it makes me feel nauseous.
I'm normally one of those restricted tv parents, but since I've been pregnant I been going easy on myself. So go easy on yourself and I hope you feel better.

I'm normally a very little TV parent but you gotta do what you gotta do to get through. Thankfully, it truly is short lived (in light of the whole picture) and will not damage them.
